Registration now open for 13th CADA Summit
November 11, 2024
It only happens once a year, and if you don’t book your ticket early, you might miss out on the topics that dealers will be talking about during 2025.
It’s the CADA Summit, and the 2025 event is being held on February 12, 2025, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, on the eve of the opening of the Canadian International Auto Show.
“Previous CADA Summit events have sold out quickly, and we like to remind our dealer members to book their spots when registration opens to ensure they and their key team members can participate,” said Peter Viney, lead organizer for the event.
Dealers can visit cada.ca/summit to review event details and register.
“CADA Summit has always provided a high-level overview of trends and forces that are impacting the auto retail business,” said Bruce Rosen, CADA’s Executive Director, Industry Relations. “This year’s content aligns perfectly with that vision, and will help our dealer members really gain insights from some of the industry’s leading experts.”
The Summit planning committee is still finalizing a couple of sessions, with some names still to come, but the event is shaping up to be a great one, in the midst of a transformative period for the auto retail industry in Canada and around the world.
This year, Jason Stein, host of the popular “Cars and Culture” radio show on SiriusXM, will start the day with the popular “Quick Takes’ session, interviewing the leaders from some of Canada’s largest and best-known dealer groups.
“You won’t want to miss hearing from fellow dealers about their strategies for growth and business success in the coming year,” said Tim Reuss, CADA’s President and CEO. “Later in the day, you can also hear from individual dealers that were named 2024 CADA Laureates. They will provide additional perspectives on how dealers are adapting and thriving. Our event surveys find that attendees like hearing from fellow dealers, so we have more lined up this year.”
Moderator Niel Hiscox, publisher of Canadian auto dealer and the event’s emcee will lead the discussion with 2024 Dealer Laureate Award Winners:
Peter Heppner, Preston Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac, Langley, BC; Alexandre Saillant, Groupe Saillant, Québec, QC, and Dean Cooley, Dean Cooley Motors, Dauphin, MB.
Another popular feature is hearing from OEM leaders. This year, CADA Summit will feature the Canadian heads of Ford, GM and Stellantis -– all taking the stage at the same time.
Jason Stein will be interviewing them and asking the tough questions that dealers in the room will want answered. The three leaders participating are:
- Bev Goodman, President and CEO, Ford Motor Company of Canada, Limited
- Kristian Aquilina, President and Managing Director, GM Canada
- Jeff Hines, President, Canada, Stellantis North America
